1926-2011
Ed Gould, our friend and colleague of many years, passed away on October 11, 2011. He was a charter member of the chamber music network, attending Sleepy Hollow and Interlochen for more than 40 years, the last 5 years with his wife, Carol. We will miss Ed's enthusiasm and loyalty, his many talents, the violin being just one, and the obscure Gounod work that became his trademark.
RIP, Ed.

How the program works
Three times a day each weekend, different combinations of musicians assemble as groups in the various newly rebuilt condos at the resort. Armed with their quartets, quintets, trios, whatever, these players make the finest music they can on the spot. Above: violinist Kay DeLuca, cellist Alice Karosas, violist Kristi Hansen, violinist Marcia Cozzi. Dropping in every few sessions will be one of our artists in residence.

Meet The Goldens with Judy Glyde
Sam Golden of Chicago started this twice-yearly chamber music program more than 40 years ago with Paula as his support team. Posed between them is frequent artist in residence Judy Glyde. The benefits to players from such coaching have made the presence of chamber music professionals a key element of each weekend.
The New Concert Hall
On Saturday night the musicians form an orchestra and play a mostly unrehearsed concert, as shown above at the first concert in the new community room in the spring of 2009. Artist in residence and maestro Bruce Uchimura did the conducting. Performers and audience alike still bask in the abundance of light and ample space.

All attendees sign up to make a contribution, and a generous offering of culinary favorites is available to satisfy just about any palate.
